Palace have ruined United in A.W.B negotiations… and it’s brilliant

There aren’t many Liverpool transfer rumours to get our teeth stuck into – so we’ll have to content ourselves with laughing at Manchester United’s ones instead!

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are trying to sign Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and in all likelihood, they’ll get it done before the end of the summer – although the price is going to be enormously inflated.

But the Guardian have reported something about United’s latest offer which made us laugh.

The Old Trafford club lodged a bid that included a £15m add-on if they win the Champions League, but Palace rejected it for being ‘wildly unrealistic’!

Considering we just won the Champions League around three weeks ago, the difference between the two clubs right now is huge.

United will spend mega-money this summer, but they’re not going to bring in anybody who’d get into our side.

Daniel James would warm our bench at best; Wan-Bissaka is not even half the player Trent Alexander-Arnold is…

In truth, they do not worry us in the slightest going into 2019/20, especially under the Norwegian’s guidance.
