Xabi Alonso is a superstar, and his quality on the pitch when at Anfield was anything but lacking.
A video of the Spaniard has been doing the rounds on social media lately as fans have been celebrating Luis Garcia’s 41st birthday.
The World Cup winner was known for his ability to pass the ball onto a dime, but an assist for a Garcia goal against Sunderland in 2004 is on another level.
Alonso turns around and barely gets a look in before playing an inch-perfect ball forward to take the Black Cats’ entire back line out of the game.
