Another day, another rumour update.
Now, according to Sega Diallo, reported Reds target Nicolas Pépé has apparently settled on a move to England, though we’re not yet sure which club will be his potential destination.
After Morocco beat Ivory Coast and silenced the 24-year-old in the Africa Cup of Nations on Friday, Pépé could now start his preparations for his expected departure from Lille.

If there were any doubts (and there always are) Mohamed Bouhafsi has replied to Diallo’s tweet and given him the eyes – a gesture which has sent Reds fans into turns of speculation, deduction, and hope.
Of course, there is always a pinch, if not a handful, of salt to be taken with every rumour and we would have to renounce the official line that we’re not in for an expensive window this summer.
While, Melissa Reddy reported, via ESPN, that the notion we’re after Pépé is “pure lies”.
That hasn’t stopped some Reds feeling that Francophone journalists such as Diallo and Bouhafsi have their fingers much more on the pulse; or, that perhaps they are less tethered by links to the club perhaps.
If Sega Diallo implies Nicolas Pepe is coming to England, I’m certainly believing he’s coming to Liverpool.
I’m choosing to believe Mohamed Bouhafsi and Sega Diallo over Melissa Reddy and the rest of the Echo puppets every day of the week

The RMC Sport journalist had previously claimed the Reds were waiting out the Pépé saga as the player decided on his next move, posting a photo with the young Lille attacker to back it up.

Reliable source who broke Fekir & Fabinho news claims Reds are “well-placed” on Pépé transfer
Let’s not forget Bouhafsi is the self-same individual who gave us the inside track on Nabil Fekir and Fabinho; if he’s right about this, we would be hard-pressed to ever be sceptical about his words again.
23 goals and 12 assists in all competitions last season; if we are in for Pépé, and part with a great deal of cash for him, Jürgen Klopp will be hoping he can replicate that form in the Premier League.
