Nicolas Pepe set to make transfer decision with three clubs – including the Reds – named as options

Nicolas Pepe is set to make a decision on his future imminently according to French media.

L’Equipe (via the Daily Express) report that Inter Milan are very keen on signing the Lille winger, while Pepe is hoping PSG choose to go for him. That could well happen, the report states, if Neymar moves on from the Ligue 1 champions and returns to Barcelona.

The Reds are the third club who are said to be in for the 24-year-old Ivory Coast international, who scored 23 times last season in 41 appearances across all competitions.

It appears that Pepe favours a move to PSG, while reports in England refute the fact that Liverpool are even in the running.

Last week the club was very vocal in voicing it’s displeasure at the rumours, claiming they have no interest in Pepe and the reports are completely fabricated, according to ESPN.

It is likely that the Reds’ name is being used purely to drive up the price and to increase bids for the winger rather than there being genuine interest. Either way, it seems a conclusion to the saga could be forthcoming sooner rather than later.
