Bobby Adekanye explains why he’s going to leave Liverpool
As early as March, the Reds seemed resigned to losing the promising winger on a Bosman and now it appears the reluctant relinquishing of Adekanye has been finalised.
A desire to secure regular minutes of first-team football seems to have been the driving force behind the 20-year-old’s decision to leave Liverpool for pastures new.
Mainly playing as right-winger, Adekanye will join fellow former Reds Lucas Leiva and Luis Alberto in Rome after Lazio finished 8th in Serie A in the 2018/19 season.
