(Video) – Bobby chalks up assist as Brazil beat Argentina 2-0

Roberto Firmino was at the heart of the moments that mattered as Brazil faced off against Argentina in their semi-final clash in the Copa América.

A Seleção’s first goal came about after solid work from Dani Alves; the attacking full-back was persistent in winning back possession from a deflected Philippe Coutinho pass, and was able to play the ball over the head of an onrushing tackle.

He then took on another lunging challenge and played an outside-of-the-boot pass to Firmino down on the right.

For our No. 9 (and Brazil’s No. 20), the rest was simple. Drifting into the box, Bobby calmly passed the ball with perfect precision to the awaiting Gabriel Jesus who put Brazil ahead.

Bobby seems to be showing, with every game, exactly why Tite has been right to include him so heavily in the tournament. In the absence of Neymar, Firmino has absolutely stepped up.
