The Reds want to bring in Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio, according to a report in Spanish outlet El Desmarque, and are prepared to ‘throw the house out of the window’ in order to do so.
It’s not a phrase you hear too often, but is common in Spain – it basically means that the Reds are prepared to spend big to get their man.

Liverpool are often linked with a move for Asensio, although the stories always tend to emanate from the Spanish media. Jurgen Klopp, though, it has been reported on many an occasion, is a big fan of his.
According to Sport Witness, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane really rates Asensio too and would not want to lose him, believing he is the best left-footed player in the world apart from Lionel Messi.
If Asensio was made available, it would make sense that the Reds would be near the front of the queue – but Real Madrid don’t want to sell him. Unless that changes, we can’t see Michael Edwards getting on the phone for this one.
