It’s only a pre-season friendly, but few would have expected Rangers to destroy Marseille 4-0 at Ibrox, yesterday.

Steven Gerrard’s side thrashed the French, who are interestingly now managed by Andre Villas-Boas and were coming off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Accrington Stanley!

Sheyi Ojo, currently on loan from Liverpool, did well again – registering an assist for Jermaine Defoe’s lovely diving header.

The Liverpool owned winger has looked exceptional this summer and we only hope he can keep it going well into the new season.
