The club have today released a free-to-view, LFCTV highlight reel of the Reds 3-1, pre-season victory over Bradford City, which also demonstrates the positive influence Ryan Kent had on proceedings.

A quick-fire brace from James Milner saw the Reds race into a 2-0 lead, before Rhian Brewster scored again to make it three before the half-time whistle.

It was Kent who won the penalty which Milner converted to double the lead.

While he also played his own part in the third goal.

The 22-year-old made a pacy run to latch onto a ball down the left, after which he evaded his marker and calmly played the ball to an onrushing Harry Wilson; then, the Welshman’s blocked shot gave the unmarked Brewster a chance to pounce on the loose ball and get somehow get it past the ‘keeper.

Cries of “it’s only Bradford” are to be expected, so Kent will be eager to try and impress against stiffer opposition in the form of Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla, and Sporting CP out in the United States.

After being awarded the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year for his exploits under Steven Gerrard at Rangers in the 2018/19 season, Kent will hope to further showcase his talents to Jürgen Klopp this pre-season.
