Now, it seems after Roberto Firmino and his wife have held a family gathering where they greeted the entering Coutinho and his wife. Bobby, wearing pretty loud attire, hugged his fellow Copa América winner and lifted him into the air.
Some have suggested that the force of the hug shows how excited Firmino is, but, of course, whether that’s because he knows the truth behind Coutinho’s doubt-shrouded future is impossible to know.
The two have been friends for many years so it’s not certain that this has anything to do with Coutinho’s next steps.
That hasn’t stopped the suspicions of Reds fans on Twitter being raised, but it remains to be seen whether ‘Agent Bobby’ is trying to rival Michael Edwards in this latest Brazilian affair.
