Liverpool have finally officially announced the new third strip for the upcoming season, a few weeks after it was leaked online.

Now it’s officially out there, Reds supporters have taken to Twitter to discuss it – with some very differing views emerging.
For us, the black kit is quite classy – the turquoise bits aren’t very ‘Liverpool’ but they do look fine. Even if you hate it, it will hardly get worn next year given how infrequently a third strip actually gets used.

Many Reds were happy with the strip – and we tend to side with them to be honest. It really isn’t that bad, and the kits always look better in the flesh.
I'm going to miss New Balance. It's nice not having the usual boring kits. #LFC pic.twitter.com/zmY8Kgg7kE

Others, however, were not happy with it at all.

Whatever you think of the kit, the most important thing is that the players perform well in it.
If the Reds win the Premier League while wearing it, even the biggest critics might just change their minds!
