Liverpool interested in promising Championship youngster – report

Liverpool have already captured Dutch starlet Sepp van den Berg, and look set to confirm a deal for Fulham winger Harvey Elliott, but that isn’t enough.

The Reds are said to be interested in bringing in West Brom starlet Rayhaan Tulloch, but will face a tug of war with Brighton and Hove Albion for the teenager.

That’s according to the Daily Mail who suggest that Jurgen Klopp is keen to add to the growing roster of promising talent at Anfield.

Tulloch is thought of very highly at West Brom and is probably more focused on impressing new boss Slaven Bilic more than moving on to pastures new.

That being said, if the reigning Champions of Europe come knocking, the 18-year-old may struggle to turn them away.

The Midlands club will surely be desperate to keep hold of their rising starlet as they eye promotion back to the Premier League after falling short last season.

Tulloch may get a fair crack at the first team at the Hawthorns this season, and those in his camp would surely suggest it’d be better for him to grow there than play for one of the Reds’ junior teams.

But, with Elliott seemingly set to follow van den Berg to Anfield, there may yet be something to this.
