Premier League club joins LFC in queue for Spanish star – report

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a move for reported Liverpool target Dani Olmo.

The Spanish midfielder can play on either flank or down the middle, and it subject of interest from the Reds, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Spurs.

It’s the latest report though that comes from Croatia that’s got people interested – for some context, Olmo currently plays for Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb.

According to SN, Wolves are interested in the Spaniard, but are low-balling the Croatian giants with a reported offer of just shy of £23million.

Wolves are making some serious waves in the transfer window this summer with deals for Jesus Vallejo and Patrick Cutrone almost over the line, as per Sky Sports News.

The 21-year-old stood out for the Spaniards at the European U21 championship, which they went on to win by defeating Germany 2-1 in the final.

Borussia Dortmund are also said to be keeping tabs on the attacking midfielder. As per MARCA, Zagreb were dead against selling their rising star before the European competition as they expected Olmo to shine on the big stage.

Liverpool have already recruited a young talent this summer in Sepp van den Berg, and a move for Spanish international certainly isn’t out of the question.

The Spaniard is said to be of a similar playing style to that of former Red Philippe Coutinho – if we sign the 21-year-old, we may finally get that creative spark in midfield we’ve cried out for.
