18-year-old Reds forward Bobby Duncan could be set for a loan switch to Sweden this season, according to The Athletic.
The starlet, who is the cousin of Steven Gerrard, was on fire last season, his first campaign with the Reds since signing from Manchester City.
Playing mostly for Barry Lewtas’ U18s, Duncan scored more than 30 goals. This coming season, he will be with the U23s full-time unless he departs on loan, having gone on the first-team tour of the USA during pre-season.

The report in The Athletic claims that Duncan has been offered to ‘at least’ one side in Sweden because Jurgen Klopp would like him to ‘broaden’ his mind.
Earlier this week, Nat Phillips moved to Stuttgart in Germany on loan. He’s 22, though, so that is a slightly different situation. Duncan is only just 18, so he has a lot of time to continue his development.
That he might be going out on loan at that age shows how highly the club rates him, and how mature they believe he is.
Paul Glatzel, who was equally impressive for the Academy sides last season, netting a similar amount to Duncan over the course of the campaign, could also have gone out on loan, but he picked up an injury against Tranmere Rovers that might have put a stop to that.
Both strikers are ones to watch over the coming years, with high hopes for both teenagers as they come through the youth system.
