The Reds face Chelsea on Wednesday night in the UEFA Super Cup, taking on the Blues in Istanbul with the opportunity to win a second piece of European silverware in 2019.
Just the six trophies remain on the table for the Reds to take home this season after the defeat on penalties to Manchester City in the Community Shield, starting with this one in Turkey.
The Reds are under no illusions about the size of the task against Frank Lampard’s side, though they will have been encouraged by the Blues’ defensive showing against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking to LiverpoolFC.com, Andy Robertson said: “They’ve lost [Eden] Hazard and they’ve brought in [Christian] Pulisic, made a couple of signings.
“Obviously they’re probably a wee bit more reliant on youth players [because of their transfer ban], but they’ve got fantastic youth players that have done it a very high level, so they’ll be ready to make the jump and Lampard did a very good job at Derby.
“We know how hard a game against Chelsea is, so we won’t be shocked by that. We need to be ready to match their work-rate and match their skill. [They might be] a wee bit different to the Chelsea we faced last season, but it’ll be interesting to see what they’re like.”

Sadio Mane could start his first match of the season having looked incredibly sharp off the bench against Norwich City on Friday, while the Reds have had two extra rest days in the lead-up to the game.
If the Reds are at it, and Chelsea defend no better than they did on Sunday, it could be a cricket score.
N’Golo Kante is likely to return to the Chelsea line-up, however, and they are going to want to bounce back from that heavy defeat. The game is not likely to be straightforward, though the Reds can be confident of victory.
