‘Incredible’: Jurgen Klopp heaps praise on Reds men after stunning Arsenal win

Jurgen Klopp has heaped huge praise on the entire Reds squad following the victory against Arsenal at Anfield, which was a 12th consecutive league win he has seen his players produce, including a nine-match run at the end of the last campaign.

Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino were sublime, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson bossed the midfield and Joel Matip excelled at the back, but Klopp was keen not to pick out individuals, choosing instead to highlight the group as a collective.

Not one player performed poorly this evening; they were all brilliant and produced by far their best performance of the season so far.

Speaking exclusively to TalkSport, Klopp said: “That’s what you want to see and the boys did it. Again on an incredible level, when we are like this, we are difficult to play.

“We played a really strong Arsenal side in a good moment, but we were in charge of the game. We had a little bit to adapt to the system which surprised us obviously but we adapted well…

“So yes, I loved it, I loved the passion, the whole atmosphere again so early in the season having this kind of atmosphere in the stadium is just incredible and I’m really happy.”

Next up is a difficult-looking fixture at Turf Moor, where Sean Dyche’s Burnley will provide a very different but equally tough test. Perform like that again, though, and the Reds will have no issues at all.

The Reds are top of the pile and both Manchester United and Everton lost this weekend. What more could you ask for?
