Jurgen Klopp aims hilarious dig at Arsenal man ahead of Anfield meeting

Jurgen Klopp has praised Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of the Premier League clash between the Reds and the Gunners this evening – saying his only weakness is his fashion sense.

The pair worked together successfully at Borussia Dortmund, where Klopp converted Aubameyang into a central striker when he had previously been deployed out wide. He was prolific in Germany and has continued that impressive form while in England.

According to the Daily Express, Klopp said: “Everything knows everything about everybody, that is how it is and there are no surprises. Auba has actually no real weaknesses apart from his fashion style.”

Last season, Aubameyang scored 22 goals in the Premier League, sharing the Golden Boot with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, so he will be a clear threat.

He’s not the only one for Virgil van Dijk and co to keep tabs on: Nicolas Pepe, of course, moved to the Emirates from Lille over the summer for £72 million, while Alexandre Lacazette is a top player on his day as well.

The Reds have an excellent record in recent times against Arsenal, and will need that to continue this evening with a third successive league win to start the new season being sought after.
