Liverpool have absolutely no intention of letting 32-goal youth forward Bobby Duncan leave this summer on either a permanent or temporary basis, despite reports elsewhere suggesting otherwise, according to the Liverpool ECHO.
Duncan was the subject of interest from Fiorentina over the weekend and the Italian side did contact the Reds but spoke to Academy director Alex Inglethorpe, not sporting director Michael Edwards, who deals with transfers.
Duncan missed the U23s game against Southampton on Monday night which added fuel to the fire when it came to speculation, but it appears that there was nothing in that.

It is great news that this is the case – though it is not at all a surprise. Had the Reds let Duncan go, that would have made very little sense.
He is very highly rated, having been taken on the first-team tour of the USA this summer, and did exceptionally well for the U18s in particular during last season, his first with the club he has supported since he was a child.
The Reds have high hopes for Duncan, who is the cousin of Steven Gerrard, and rightly so – he’s definitely one to watch out for over the coming years.
