The Reds have been drawn against MK Dons in the third round of the Carabao Cup for the 2019/20 season.

The tie will take place on September 24 or 25, at a time to be confirmed, in between matches against Chelsea (away) and Sheffield United (home).
Most Reds fans were pleased with the draw, though, of course, it would have been better if it were at Anfield.

It’s great that the Reds will be able to field the likes of young Rhian Brewster and Ki-Jana Hoever, as well as more senior players such as Adam Lallana and Xherdan Shaqiri who have been lacking minutes so far in the campaign.
Hopefully, the Reds can make it through to the round four this season having been knocked out by Chelsea at Anfield at the same stage last year. It might not be the biggest trophy in the world, but any piece of silverware is worth lifting!
