Tammy Abraham sends Liverpool warning which will be Klopp’s pre-match team-talk

Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham has told Liverpool to expect a fired up opponent on Sunday, as the Reds travel to Stamford Bridge to play our toughest game of the Premier League season so far.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are top of the table on five wins from five, with our nearest challengers Manchester City five points back after a draw and a defeat.

Chelsea are on the back of a Champions League defeat to Valencia, but we lost in Italy to Napoli – so both sides are in fact keen to right midweek wrongs.

“We’ve got another massive game on Sunday. So we have to take our anger out against Liverpool,” Abraham threatened, as reported in the Metro.

“I had a little situation against Liverpool where I missed the penalty myself and from there they’ve just supported me and believed in me. Playing with such great players who create great chances, it’s just about me being in the right place at the right time.”

Time and time again players talk big about what they’re going to do when they come up against Liverpool – and end up regretting it – so we hope Abraham lives to as well.

Klopp will surely be telling his players to show Abraham what ‘angry’ really means.

The forward is enjoying a great start to the season in fairness, scoring seven goals in the Premier League so far.

Our frontline has been lethal too though, and we hope they have the temerity and finishing to put an occasionally inconsistent Blues defence to the sword.
