Alisson Becker was named the top goalkeeper on the planet on Monday night, but was in no rush to collect his award at the FIFA Best Ceremony!
The Brazilian’s name was called out, but as the camera panned around the audience in an attempt to find him, Alisson couldn’t be seen.
Awkward murmurs began to circulate the hall, before Ruud Gullit stepped up and issued another call.
Thankfully, Alisson eventually showed his face and walked up to collect the gong – but not before his boss Jurgen Klopp was filmed smirking at his disappearance!
With the best manager, the best centre-back and the best goalkeeper on the planet, Liverpool are surely in a terrific position to go from strength to strength this term.
The individual awards are great, but really – we want the big one: The Premier League!
