Peter Crouch will always have a place in the hearts of Liverpool fans, with some big goals in even bigger games from the biggest lad.

He was surprisingly nimble with the ball at his feet, and not all of his goals came from headers, but his time at Anfield didn’t last for too long.

Crouch joined Liverpool shortly after the 2005 Champions League triumph and left the club three years later, but he was survived by his impact on the team and its fans.

The love was mutually felt as big Pete has recently recalled how his time at Anfield was the best time in his career.

He played 134 games for the Reds, which makes the Liverpool shirt the second-most worn by the former striker, with only Stoke getting more from Crouchy.
