In the furore of Liverpool’s 4-3 win over Rb Salzburg last night, the role Mo Salah played has been somewhat underplayed.
Such was the shock of the Austrians coming back from 3-0 down to draw level, the winning goal was more of relief than ecstasy.
Our Egyptian King bagged two on the night and his second was actually a real peach.
As this Twitter user noted, Salah predicted Roberto Firmino’s flick on and squeezed himself brilliantly between two huge defenders before finishing with aplomb.
It was a massive moment and our no.11 deserves more credit for it.
Man look at salah off the ball movement to brust between 2 big defenders before firmino touch the ball.
not many have that sharpeness and composure in the later stages of the game especially it was a recovered ball that needed him to act very quickly.https://t.co/eGTDmCU5Z6
