This is an absolutely hilarious (but fairly accurate) open letter from a Manchester United fan which appeared in the Times this morning…
In it, George Lewis admits he finds it impossible to hate Jurgen Klopp, as much as he’d like to – and reckons the German has perfectly forged a team in his own image – just as Sir Alex Ferguson did in the 1990s and 2000s.
He goes on to claim he’s ‘jealous’ of Klopp’s dog, who he reckons has a brilliant life – full of walks, treats and tummy rubs!

In all honesty, we think most United fans think in a similar manner – but wouldn’t be quite as honest about it.
After all, Liverpool won the Champions League last season and following Manchester City’s defeat to Wolves yesterday, are the Premier League favourites for 2019/20.
United are mid-table, managed by somebody who is clearly tactically naive and are regularly putting out starting XIs that wouldn’t look out of place in a relegation battle.
But we had our difficult times under Roy Hodgson, while they were racking up their 13th Premier League title.
We deserve this!
