Harry Wilson tipped for chance in Liverpool’s senior team

Liverpool winger Harry Wilson is on loan at Bournemouth, and is currently smashing life in all honesty. He proved himself at Derby County in the Championship last season, and showed sparks of his class over the summer tour in the US with Liverpool.

But he was shipped out on loan to the Cherries before the end of the transfer window, and to be honest his future at Anfield was thrown into doubt.

It’d be fair to assume that Liverpool could get £30million for Wilson if a few clubs are interested in him, at the end of the season, but one coach at the club believes he’ll get a crack at the first team.

Alex Inglethorpe has suggested that the Welshman could steal a spot on the bench at Liverpool, but he’s aware that the likes of Mo Salah, Gini Wijnaldum and Sadio Mane’s places are pretty safe.

I think he’s realistic enough to know he wouldn’t come back from his loan and take someone’s spot straight away, but he could maybe put pressure on positions 12, 13 and 14 on the bench, and make an impact playing in a percentage of games each year,he told The Athletic.

By saying the positions of ’12, 13 and 14′ – he’s surely suggesting that Xherdan Shaqiri could be see his place in the squad taken by Wilson after his loan.
