Liverpool’s Boxing Day, Amazon Prime fixture v Leicester, has been shunted late

Liverpool will play Leicester City on Boxing Day at 8pm, reports the Leicester Mercury.

The game, to be played at the King Power, will be shown on Amazon Prime, rather than Sky Sports or BT Sport.

English Liverpool fans who can’t go to the game have to shell out on three subscription services to watch all of our games – and they still can’t see 3pm kick-offs!

For those at home, the 8pm kick-off will a fun, boozy affair no doubt – but it’s going to cause some issues for Reds travelling to the game.

Boxing Day public transport will be horrendous, but we’re sure those with tickets will find a way and make a brilliant day of it.

Liverpool are set for an incredibly busy festive schedule, right off the back of the Club World Cup.

Obviously, it’s a nice problem to have as it means we’re the champions of Europe – but you can bet that right now Jurgen Klopp would prefer if his squad didn’t have to travel to Doha for two matches right before a plethora of games before and after Christmas.

If we’re still in the EFL Cup, we’re going to be playing every three days for all of December and January.
