Milan & Lazio are showing interest in Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana – report

Serie A giants AC Milan and Lazio are reportedly interested in Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, according to a couple of outlets.

The Rossoneri are said to be looking at taking the former Southampton captain to the San Siro, with Stefano Pioli wanting to add experience to his young Milan side.

That’s according to Calcio Mercato, while it’s Football Insider who suggest that Lucas Leiva’s Lazio are interested in signing another ageing Liverpool man.

The Footy Insider report actually states that the Reds would be looking to offload Lallana as soon as the January transfer window, if the right offer comes in.

Liverpool’s No.20 has struggled for first team opportunities since the signings of Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Xherdan Shaqiri, but has also seen Divock Origi and Fabinho limit his chances elsewhere on the pitch.

His heroic goal against Manchester United over the weekend was his first for over two years, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if the attacking midfielder was considering his options.

A player of Lallana’s raw quality would thrive in a league like Serie A, and joining up with an exciting team like the current youthful Milan side wouldn’t be a bad way to go.

That being said, if he’s content with the role he’s playing at Anfield right now then I’m sure Jurgen Klopp would be happy enough having him around.
