Liverpool fans didn’t have to wait long this evening for something exciting to happen.
In the 2nd minute, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain got the ball on the edge of the area and for some reason, wasn’t pressed by Genk’s defenders.
With his right foot, Ox found the bottom corner from 22-yards, putting Liverpool 1-0 up.
It’s Ox’s first goal of the season and a fantastic sign following his promising cameo on Sunday.
