It’s not long before Kylian Mbappe’s name comes up, when Liverpool fans talk about players they’d love to see the club to sign in the summer.
Along with Jadon Sancho, it appears the Frenchman has captured the imagination of Reds fans as they’ve talked the rumours into existence.
There have been no substantial reports suggesting that Mbappe and Liverpool will ever be a thing, but #Mbappe2020 has become popular since talk of Nike making our kits from next season began.
If you think I'm going to be super unrealistic like the rest of the LFC fanbase and start tweeting #Mbappe2020 then you're absolutely right.

Now it seems that something Brazil legend Rivaldo has said has piqued fans’ interest. The former Barcelona man believes that Mbappe needs to move to Engand or Spain if he’s to succeed.
The Brazilian reckons the young forward is capable of taking up Lionel Messi’s mantle as the best player in the world, but has tipped him to leave PSG for that the be the case.
“There’s no doubt Mbappe has the qualities to become one of the best in the world, as he is playing great football and has huge potential,” he told BetFair.
“He would be able to develop his talent by playing La Liga or the Premier League. Ligue 1 is clearly below the competitive level of Spain or England.
“With all due respect to PSG, I believe he must leave for a Spanish or big English team in the future to confirm himself as the heir to Messi or Ronaldo. The best players need to play in the best leagues.”
Rivaldo did play for Barcelona in his career, and Ronaldinho moved from PSG to Barca, maybe he’s hinting that Mbappe should go the same way?
Nah, Liverpool is where he needs to be! Time for Fabinho to pipe up. 😉
