Harry Kane’s bitter comments post-match are ridiculous

Tottenham star Harry Kane has hit out at Liverpool after Spurs’ 2-1 loss at Anfield by claiming that the Reds were lucky against them.

Ignoring the fact that the England forward scored via Son Heung-min smashing the ball off the cross bar – leaving the net pretty much gaping for him.

I can understand how Kane would be hurt after such a game – you know, they took an early lead, but we turned the game around in the time available and their efforts add up to nothing.

The Reds were incredible against the Londoners, to be honest, it may actually be the best performance I’ve seen from the lads since that famous game against Barcelona last season.

Paulo Gazzaniga put in a more than admirable effort in goal, in the absence of Spurs’ skipper Hugo Lloris, and very nearly earned his team a point.

A lesser goalkeeper in between the sticks, the score-line could have easily been closer to 4-1 or 5-1, and for those who didn’t get to watch the game, I’m not even exaggerating.

And just to hammer home the point – if we’re talking about someone being lucky, does Harry not remember how he scored?!
