Liverpool downed Arsenal 5-4 tonight in a penalty shootout to secure passage into the EFL Cup quarterfinals, following a 5-5 draw after 90 minutes.
Liverpool fought back from 3-1, 4-2 and 5-4 down – which goes to show the mentality of the first-team runs through to the backup players and our kids – too!
In the shootout, Kelleher kept out Arsenal’s fourth and Curtis Jones slotted home our last effort to confirm the win.
