LFC stay rent-free in Pep’s head as City boss fumes on Mane after their own comeback

It’s childish and a little sad at this point. Man City had just overturned their own deficit and beat Southampton 2-1 to ensure three points in the Premier League.

But Blues’ boss Pep Guardiola was thinking about Liverpool and Sadio Mane after the game. The Spaniard was fuming with the forward for getting a yellow for simulation.

I mean, one problem with it is that there was contact – yes, Mane definitely made the most of it, but it wasn’t as an outrageous dive as everyone is suggesting.

But that’s besides the point – this is about Pep. Why is he talking about us in his post-match comments? I don’t recall Jurgen Klopp giving City any mention in his.

It reeks of cryarsery; he’s probably fuming because he thought he had managed to overturn a result while the Reds dropped two points away at Villa.

Ah well. We play City at Anfield next weekend, and it’s a great opportunity for Liverpool to secure a six-pointer against our Premier League title rivals.

I can’t wait to hear what Pep moans about after the game! He really is turning into the new Jose Moanrinho.
