Manchester City attacking midfielder Riyad Mahrez was caught out showing coach Mikel Arteta a replay of Mohamed Salah’s goal at Anfield.
The Egyptian scored Liverpool’s second in the first half, and it was a close call on the offside front but Salah was clearly being played on by a City defender.
It was a controversial decision, as is everything with VAR, but the officials eventually awarded that it was definitely onside and screenshots have proved as much.
