Raheem Sterling has had a bit of a stinker since Sunday morning.
His team lost against Liverpool to give us serious initiative in the title race; he squared up to Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson, put in a nasty tackle on Virgil van Dijk and has now been thrown out of the England squad for starting on Gomez again.
Perhaps the smarter observer could have seen this coming, with multiple videos of Sterling from Sunday’s Anfield clash now circling the web – displaying that he’d clearly lost his head.
This one with Hendo makes us laugh, with Liverpool’s captain looking at referee Michael Oliver with a deadpan expression while Sterling gesticulates over nothing!
Liverpool need to maintain our composure. We have a good lead now, but simply have to keep on winning – as our rivals will come back strong.
