Many Reds reckon this Son/Fabinho/Firmino video shows #Son2020 could be a thing

So far this season, #Mbappe2020 and #Sancho2020 have trended on Twitter due to Liverpool fans speculating about our big summer signing at the end of the campaign.

And the latest player to get the treatment is Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son!

The South Korean is a terrific player and stylistically, would be absolutely perfect as an option in our front-three.

Yesterday, he was filmed exchanging shirts with Fabinho and then speaking to Roberto Firmino with a big smile on his face after Brazil’s victory – sending Liverpool fans wild.

Now, Son is actually 28 next summer, so probably too old for the club to spend big money on – so we really doubt this is going to happen – despite the calls for it online.

It’s much more likely that we invest heavily in somebody under the age of 25 who can then grow into the kind of player Son is now – as we’ve done with Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Bobby previously.
