James Milner has declared that there are no two players less like each other personality wise in the Liverpool squad than he and Divock Origi!
In Liverpool’s vice-captain’s book ‘Ask A Footballer,’ Milner has explained his relationship with our cult-hero Belgian – who struck twice last night to down Everton at Anfield.
The striker, a goalscorer in the Merseyside Derby on five occasions now, is well known for his relaxed, calm persona, which is the very opposite to Milner who is a ball of intensity in everything he does.
Milner though is incredibly grateful for his team-mate, who he says is a brilliant influence on the squad both on and off the pitch.
His words are fantastic, actually – so much so – journalist Oliver Kay took a picture of the pages as he read them and posted them on Twitter.
From here, they went viral – and if you click on the tweet below it will expand and you can check them out for yourself.
