PSG have decided Sadio Mane should replace Neymar – report

Reigning French champions PSG have reportedly shortlisted Sadio Mane to replace Neymar at the Parc des Princes.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move back to Barcelona for some time now, via the Express, and reports in France now say that they want Mane to replace him.

That’s according to France Football (via GFFN), anyway, who claim the PSG hierarchy view the Liverpool superstar as a “perfect” replacement.

The Parisians splashed £200million on Neymar, and honestly, they’d need to do it again if they’re wanting any chance to prise Mane from Anfield.

The forward is a better player now than the Brazilian was when they signed him from Barcelona, and unlike Neymar, he actually seems happy at his current club.

I’d expect that Liverpool can recognise that Mane would be impossible to replace, even with a ludicrous amount of money – and I’d hope that we’d turn down any offer we may get for him.

The same report also links Juvenus’ Paulo Dybala with PSG – the two clubs obviously have had previous, and may be able to thrash out a deal there, if the Argentine wants the move.

It’s like the scenario Real Madrid found themselves in over the summer – as per talkSPORT, they wanted Mane and ended up with Eden Hazard. Not a bad deal for them, of course, but it goes to show the sort of resistance the Spaniards may have faced in trying to get the Liverpool man.
