The centre-half joined the team going into a frenzy after the Brazilian dramatically gave Liverpool a late 1-0 advantage over Flamengo in the FIFA Club World Cup, and imitated Bobby’s karate kick celebration.
The Reds went on to secure the trophy after holding onto the lead after Extra Time, with both van Dijk and Firmino exemplary.
Mo Salah won the Player of the Tournament award, but really, Firmino was our most crucial performer, while an ill van Dijk still thwarted the gutsy Brazilians.
