Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp didn’t have the time to find the words to appropriately praise former player Adam Lallana as the Reds took on Midtjylland at Anfield.
The new Brighton star was on punditry duties for BT Sports last night and the boss was caught off-guard when told the midfielder was helping with match coverage.
“What a player, what a person, what a guy,” Klopp immediately said when he found out Lallana was around, but remarked how there isn’t “enough time to praise you appropriately” as his short pre-match interview was curtailing.
Take a watch of the video below (via BT Sport) and skip the first two minutes:
"This group is so special, I don't have enough words for it, so this is just another challenge for us. Deal with it, that's what we do."
