(Video) Naby Keita elbowed in Tottenham clash in another instance unpunished by officials

Posted by

With the number of dubious moments that occurred in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham, it’s rather remarkable how few went in the Reds’ favour.

Fans will already be intimately familiar with the bizarre reaction of the officials to a shove on Diogo Jota and Harry Kane’s reckless tackle against Andy Robertson, and it will come as no surprise that an errant elbow planted on Naby Keita was ignored.

Whilst dribbling with the ball, the Guinean international came into contact with Ryan Sessegnon, with the fullback’s arm colliding with the midfielder as feint was attempted.

  1. As a Liverpool fan I’m getting a bit tired with Klopp’s antics, constantly arguing with officials, imagining there’s a conspiracy against us. It doesn’t help us and the fans pick up on it and just copy him. Time for him to show a bit of class and set an example. We were lucky to get away with a point at Spurs, they should have been out of sight, if we’re honest. All this complaining about decisions is boring: Kane might have got a red, sometimes you get them, sometimes not. Robbo was a red. They had a few penalty shouts, so did we. It evens out. Fans should stop moaning about the refs annd so should Klopp. We didn’t play well, lucky to get a point. Move on. Show some class and rise above all the stupid media clickbait conspiracy theories.
