Kostas Tsimikas appeared to poke fun at his Liverpool teammate, Thiago Alcantara, as the Spaniard turned 31.
The Greek international shared a second post wishing the midfielder a happy birthday with the player’s face superimposed on that of Gandalf’s from the Lord of the Rings franchise.
Whilst there will be some concern over some of the ageing members of Jurgen Klopp’s squad, the No.6 has more than proved that class is permanent with his performances this term, and we’ll be hopeful of getting more top-quality outings out of him in the seasons to come.
