Liverpool have endured a disappointing season so far, with their Premier League title credentials being doubted by some pundits, but for the most part, Anfield has been the source of home comforts.

The Reds have won seven of their nine matches in L4 so far this term, including memorable victories over Arsenal and Real Madrid, with the only aberrations coming against Manchester United and Crystal Palace in October, and the latter was in a Carabao Cup fourth round tie.

Arne Slot’s side will play five more games in their world-famous stadium before the end of 2025, and if you’re looking to get to Anfield over the next few weeks, this guide on how to buy Liverpool tickets has you covered!

Let’s take a look at who LFC will face at home between now and the end of December.

Nottingham Forest (22 November)

Slot’s first defeat in charge of Liverpool was inflicted in this fixture last season, with the Garibaldi pulling off an upset in what was a rare off-day for the eventual Premier League champions.

The Midlands club have had two managerial changes since then, with Sean Dyche recently replacing Ange Postecoglou in the hot seat, although the former Burnley and Everton boss has a curiously good track record at Anfield.

He was in charge of the Clarets when, in January 2021, they became the first team to win away to the Reds in the Premier League for more than five years.

PSV Eindhoven (26 November)

By the time this fixture comes around, it will have been just over five years since Liverpool last failed to win at home in a group stage/league phase match in European competition (Atalanta were the last team to do so in 2020).

PSV have had a respectable Champions League campaign so far, sitting 18th in the table with five points from a possible 12, but with the greatest of respect to Peter Bosz’s side, this is a game that the Reds simply must win if they’re to remain on track for a top-eight finish and direct entry to the round of 16.

Sunderland (3 December)

It’s almost nine years since Sunderland last played at Anfield (a 2-0 defeat in November 2016), but the Black Cats are a far different proposition now to the team which suffered Premier League relegation in that season.

Regis Le Bris’ team are currently fourth in the table, having enjoyed an excellent start on their return to the top flight, and they ended Arsenal’s 10-match winning run in a 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light last weekend.

Brighton (13 December)

A come-from-behind 2-1 win in this fixture last season is frequently cited as the launch pad for Liverpool’s charge to Premier League title glory, having gone top on that day just over a year ago and remained there for the rest of the campaign.

Slot will be hoping for an equally seminal result in mid-December against a team who’ve often had the measure of LFC in recent years. The Seagulls are currently 11th in the table, so nothing less than three points is acceptable against James Milner and co.

Wolves (27 December)

With top-flight Boxing Day football at a premium this year, Liverpool fans will have to wait until two days after Christmas for their final fixture of 2025, which pits them against a Wolves team who’ve endured an atrocious season so far.

Will incoming manager Rob Edwards have triggered a turnaround in fortunes by the festive period? Even if he does, the Reds ought to be taking care of business with relative comfort in this game, so long as they don’t succumb to complacency.
