Rumours today suggest that Jordan Ibe could leave Anfield this summer, with reports suggesting that Watford and Southampton are interested in making a bid for the 20-year-old.
Ibe has had a difficult season after so much hype surrounding him, in the hope that his talent would see him replace the departed Raheem Sterling, but he has struggled for form and consistency and he may struggle to feature in Klopp first eleven next season, with the Reds having fewer fixtures to play after failing to qualify for Europe.
Ibe is still young and a very exciting talent, but with Klopp hoping to add more quality to his squad this summer, it will be interesting if Liverpool want to keep hold of Ibe if an offer comes in for the winger.
I personally think Ibe should be given another season to impress, because he certainly has the ability to be a great player, as he showed with that tremendous goal against West Brom in Liverpool’s last league game of the season.
But Ibe needs to learn to handle the pressure of playing with a big club like Liverpool if he is to be a success at Anfield.
I really hope he stays because I think it is too early to judge him as a Liverpool player.
