Yes, we have to play everyone at some point next season, but Liverpool’s fixture list is gruesome in the early weeks.
Four out of our first five games are away (partly our fault because of Anfield’s redevelopment), and we’re facing Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and Leicester – before facing Manchester United eight games in as well.
If we get through them, it could work wonders – as we’ve a series nice games before Christmas and a smooth run-in – along with the ‘benefit’ of no European football.
Still, some fans aren’t taking it too well!
1 – Liverpool have only won one of their last 16 Premier League away trips to Arsenal (W1 D7 L8). Tricky. #PLfixtures

Liverpool (H) and Leicester (A) to start the season. Tough… Imagine if Vardy signs… First home game as champions playing against them..

And we start with Spurs and Arsenal away. For the second year in a row Liverpool have the hardest start of any team pic.twitter.com/ZV6bo8v5FC

Liverpool’s first 5 games are Arsenal, Burnley, Spurs, Leicester and Chelsea. Tough start to say the least.
