Jurgen Klopp’s message as LFC gun for silverware

Posted by

Jurgen Klopp has once again reiterated his desire for football to be about the process rather than the end result – with the boss explaining that he feels the moments en route to success are just as important as the success itself.

Klopp told Jonathan Northcroft of the Sunday Times: “We are really desperate to win something, and the best would be the league, but we don’t know when that will happen. We should have the best time of our lives until it happens.

“That means we have to enjoy; we have to work hard. We have to create as many special moments for our supporters as possible; bring through local players, if it’s possible – even strengthen the bond between the fans and the club.”

Klopp has spoken in press conferences before about this topic, and it makes perfect sense. Only one team can win the Premier League each season, but should that mean the rest of the teams cannot enjoy themselves?

Trophies will come under the German’s guidance – but until then, sit back and enjoy the ride.
