Over the last couple of weeks certain German players have linked to Liverpool in the rumour mill and now today we saw a couple of German managers linked in replacing Roy Hodgson.
Borrusia Dortmund’s Jürgen Klopp and Hoffenheim’s ex manager Ralf Rangnick have this morning been linked by respected Norwegian football analyst Tor-Kristian Karlsen.

imo klopp is a non-starter (though excellent candidate), having just signed new contract and on route to leading bvb to title/cl qual

should liverpool go for ralf rangnick it’d be one of the most inspired & interesting mangerial appointments ever in the premier league imo
this might be a case of 2+2=5 but also interesting that several uk newspapers are linking per mertesacker to liverpool this morning…
the germany defender came through hannover 96’s youth system when ralf rangnick was the club’s head coach…
per mertesacker’s father was also a youth coach at hannover 96 during rangnick’s time there, they’re (still) very close friends…
ppl asking about dalglish: i have no clue whatsoever. but if liverpool are serious about rangnick there’s no need to wait til end of season
Rangnick has quit Hoffenheim yesterday after failing to stop the sale of Luiz Gustavo to Bayern Munich.
This morning, many papers in the UK have reported that Kenny Dalglish is looking set to take over as L.F.C. manager until the end of the season. From the looks of it N.E.S.V. have realised that they can not keep Roy Hodgson until the end of the season as failure to qualify for any European competition would a financial disaster.
Things seem to be falling into place and I really have a feeling that something is going to happen soon.
