Jadon Sancho has been linked to Liverpool endlessly, most recently in the Telegraph, but you can find a new report every day in fairness.
The winger is unsettled in Germany according to the The Athletic and a summer 2020 return to England seems inevitable.
He’s quick, young, skilful and regularly scores and assists goals – meaning he could be potentially be ideal cover for our world-class frontline.
And Sancho has a soft spot for Reds centre-back Virgil van Dijk, judging by his recent comments on the Dutchman’s Instagram post.
Van Dijk surprised a Liverpool fan in a heartwarming clip and the 19-year-old winger openly showed his appreciation.
Does this mean he’s Anfield bound? Not automatically – but if Sancho was anti-Liverpool he wouldn’t be hovering in our players’ comment sections on social media.
We think if Liverpool are genuinely keen on the flyer, there’s a good chance we’ll get him. After all, working for Jurgen Klopp is probably the biggest pull in world football right now – and the fact we didn’t sign anybody in summer 2019 means there’ll be money to spend at the end of this season.
