“We need a left-back!”
“No, buying cover for Emre Can is more important!”
“Forget defence, just get Pulisic over the line!”
… So went the pub conversations around Liverpool and the North West yesterday night, as we entered the final 24 hours of the summer transfer window.
And now here we are — it’s all over.
For Liverpool, the window didn’t really “slam shut”, instead it gently blew closed in a cool late-summer Anfield breeze. That’s because – despite what some fans believe to be the shortcomings of the side – we spent a grand total of £0 on the final day of the window.

Here’s what fans have been saying about today and our transfer window in general:
Some significant improvements to the squad from LFC this summer. Mane adds important attacking dimension we were lacking.

As for our window, but of a damp squid as I was sure we’d address problem positions, but as people say, this is Klopps way. Support him. #LFC

Now to get behind the players at the club. Klopp is very happy with the squad of players he’s got and thats more than good enough for me!
