Statistics show Adam Lallana’s remarkable improvement under Klopp

Adam Lallana’s resurgence following the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as manager has been arguably the most notable at the club.

The entire squad has benefited from the guidance and the presence of the German in some way but Lallana’s rise has emerged as perhaps the most significant.

A hefty £25million fee fuelled high expectations of Lallana following his arrival from Southampton in 2014 and appeared to contribute to the midfielder enduring a tough start to life on Merseyside.

Since Klopp took over as manager, the England star has managed to well and truly put his early struggles behind him and begin to justify why Liverpool paid so much for his services.

This season has seen him become crucial to his side’s attacking power through the assists and goals he has finally started to provide.

He is thriving in the midfield role that Klopp has given him and is clearly more suited to the wider outlook and the tendency to arrive in attacking positions late that playing from a deeper position allows and forces him to do.

The improvement has been astonishing and has seen him transform into undoubtedly one of England’s most talented players.

Aside from his statistics, he is an absolute joy to watch.
