This one is a little unexpected!
Scott Carson is having a medical at Manchester City today ahead of a potential switch to the Etihad, 11 years after leaving Liverpool for good.
This is according to journalist Peter O’Rourke on Twitter.

33-year-old Carson has been with Derby County since 2015, but instead of staying on with the Championship side, the former Red will head to City and be their third-choice keeper, behind South American duo Ederson and Claudio Bravo.
As a result, it’s very unlikely he’ll ever feature for the first-team.
Carson was signed by Liverpool back in 2005 under Rafa Benitez, but never became a regular starter under the Spaniard, sent on loan on three occasions before eventually joining West Brom on a permanent deal.
As a result, we hardly consider his imminent transfer to City an act of betrayal, but cannot go quite as far as wishing him or new his side luck!
